Each year for the last eleven years COMMFFEST has showcased a wide scope of socially relevant films with panel discussions from around the world addressing community issues. The films ranged from human right issues health related topics, community housing, gentrification, youth violence poverty and race relations.
In 2014 COMMFFEST International Art Exhibition was fully integrated after many requests to have art included into it’ s programming.
COMMFFEST 2018 will be an out of ordinary event with great films, music but also well renowned artist painter, photographers, and mixed media artists from around the world, an event not to be missed.
The MADA awards (Making A Difference Award) the artists whose work most exemplifies and reflects the mandate of the festival/ exhibition will receive the prestigious MADA Award Obelisk. The runner up will receive a framed certificate.
